Heron Helps Consulting supports not-for-profit organizations in developing clear, trauma-informed policies and processes. Our trainings build internal capacity that strengthen operational systems and enhances team wellbeing. Our work helps organizations align their practices with funder expectations, legislative requirements, and core values, translating policies into practice through collaborative facilitation and tailored coaching.
Rooted in a strengths-based framework, our approach fosters clarity, accountability, and connections — creating a solid foundation for sustainable, community-centered work. This work explores how processes, systems, and culture shape everyday experiences and relationships. We help front-line staff and managers deepen authenticity and connection with their work and one another. Together, we create spaces for brave conversations about power, trust, and relational dynamics, sustaining care and accountability across teams.

Organizational Planning and Strategic Directions
Design new or evolve existing programs that are responsive, sustainable, trauma-informed and grounded in community need. Working collaboratively, I help define program structure, service pathways, roles, and workflows to ensure programs are practical to deliver and meaningful to those they serve.
